Imagine, we are almost done with 2021; it’s November. This month we focus on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms so that we are all informed when we talk about this document. I know it is long, requiring a Special Edition, and I know it can be tedious to read but if we are going to quote from this valuable document then we need to know what is in it and not rely of other sources to tell what is in it. Of course I encourage you to go to the Government of Canada website and check it out for yourself along with the references. Then remember to share this Newsletter with family and friends and especially with those who do not have access to the internet. As soon as we are able to, we will once again distribute hard copy in the Boundary region and continue to post it on our website. Have a great month as you ready for winter. Here is a link to an interview conducted by The Guardian Newspaper with Greta Thurnberg. It is long but very informative and interesting. Take a few moments of your time to read it and think about what this young girl is telling us. Gracing our eyes are the wonderful colours of Autumn as the crisp air fills our lungs with freshness after a summer full of smoke and heat. The October issue of the BPI Newsletter will inform you on the UN Declaration of Human Rights. So take a bit of time to read and think about this valuable document and then share it with family and friends. October 8, 2021Leave a comment issue-215-oct.-2021Download
