March Newsletter finally ready

March has entered like a roaring lion, with snow and wind and everything in between.  Let’s hope that winter has run its course and warmth will come to the Northern hemisphere.  I know we here in the Boundary are so done with winter.

I must apologize for the delay in getting the BPI Newsletter out this month.  I had some personal delays and then there was a delay with printing, but we have persevered and here it is.  So, go to our website at: and after you read it you are encouraged to print it or forward it on to your contacts.  The hardcopy will be in the outlets of the Boundary within the next week.  And if you so choose share a copy with family and friends.

The month we start looking to spring is here.  February has come with rain and snow and sun all mixed up.  It seems that winter has been so long and yet, it started so late.  Or is it just wishful thinking.

Anyway, to ease the winter blues, the Boundary Peace Initiative Newsletter is out and ready for you to read and share.  Those of you in the Boundary can pick a copy at various outlets in Grand Forks, Christina Lake, Greenwood and Midway.

And those outside the Boundary can access it on our website at:  We encourage you to share it with family and friends either through your through on line contacts or print it off and share the hardcopy.

Remember we do take donations and welcome input.  As the year marches on watch for various upcoming events that are either organized by the BPI or endorsed by us.

Thank to you all our supporters and we do look forward to seeing you in person in the near future.

January 2023: Issue # 230 Boundary Peace Initiative Newsletter.

2023 has arrived and so has the Boundary Peace Initiative Newsletter.  Wow issue 230!  This time travel with us to COP27 in Egypt and the Say No to the F-35s Fighter Jets for Canada and finish reading about the International Day of Peace in Grand Forks.  There is so much more that we’d like to share with you but then the number of pages would have to grow.

Remember, we offer this information for free but we do pay for printing and we do need to pay for the Website in order to spread the word further afield.  We know it is kind of tight these days and after the flurry of requests in December you may be tapped out.  We are just reminding you that we gratefully accept donations at any time, in any amount.

We will begin planning for events in the coming months and will let you know the details as they emerge, so keep your ears and eyes peeled for announcements.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we step into another year riddled with anguish and pain, abuse and violence but not lacking in hope and promise for a better world if we walk together in love and compassion and kindness.
