The march towards autumn has begun and harvest well underway and International Day of Peace is on the horizon.  The BPI Newsletter is also ready for you to read and share with family and friends.

International Day of Peace we are hosting this year on September 16th in order to have our guests available.  Aras, Majid and Maya, our Iranian brothers and sister, will share their knowledge and their insights with us at Grand Forks Holy Trinity Anglican Church Hall starting at 1pm.  Admission is by donation to help cover cost of facility rental.  Please come with an open mind to learn about Iran and its people.

Also on September 30th, the Day of Truth and Reconciliation will be hosted by our local First Nations, Métis and Inuit community. Watch for details and please do show your support.

For those in the Grand Forks area we have a bit of a dilemma.  Our downtown delivery person is not able to distribute the Newsletter.  So, we need of someone to step forward (that is not close to 90 years old or so young that they need an adult to accompany them) to give a few hours at the beginning of each month to deliver the Newsletter.  If you are willing to help out please contact Laura at 250-444-0524 or at 250-442-0434 or email at: L4peace@telus.net.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
